has any body else had trouble with centre branch flange fouling on the inlet manifold ?. not the pipe , but the flange and the weld , had to grind it back so the inlet could sit flush on the head , what a pain in the rectum

Mark

That was the easiest mod I did to fit the Maniflows to my Morris 1100.

Then there was making the flanges flat against the head face, making the pipes oval to fit past the subframe, modifying the sub frame and the floor, moving the hydro pipe, etc....

Mark,
This has been a problem on Maniflows with twin carbs since the year dot. Their centre pipes also foul on a standard HS2 or HS4 inlet manifold.
The Poms must all think we run a Minispares single carb manifold or something.:x

Australian made manifolds- Sonic, Perry etc all had the centre pipe and its flange low enough to clear.
[edit] but Maniflows work better, once you get the buggers to fit.
