People with that attitude often miss out on what they really want.. Those that ask can budget and achieve results others can only dream of.. Also something I could be interested in for my panelvan once I get my clubman built. And we all know budgets are what we start with but they blow out and we end up with very nice cars to enjoy.. So if I ask and I don't get a reply on the site then behind the scenes I'll be getting what I'm after.. And maybe in a couple of years you'll be say wow he did and he could wish I had off...

some people opt for some really nice internal bits ( Oh & some really nice external bits too i might add) in their twinky donks,,, & others don`t

so,,, it all really depends on your "wish-list" but some of these engine builds go past the $20K mark

i have a few customers right now spending well over $20k on their Twinky power-units

No offence intended here but--> anyone writing a book about minis 30 years ago may not have experienced such worn or stuffed-with components as we are finding these days.

You should put your heart & soul into everything you do.

Oh yeah!! It's quickly adding up. Buy one bit at a time it doesn't seem as bad.

See that's how im thinking too as I slowly rebuild the body I can accumulate some high end parts and in a year or so I have a high revving screamer of a mini donk ready to rumble that I didn't shell out for in 1 go.
