From memory the conversion was being sold before the Deluxe was released, so the regulators wouldn't have been Deluxe.
My guess is Morris 1100 but they were only available in Australia for about a year before the Deluxe arrived.

found this version that was around in 64 pre dates the version i have but trim looks similar around the door bin has the air con mod as well :D

These photos were taken in Singapore early 1966
The car is a 1965 1071 Cooper S which was imported from UK with the conversion already done
Looks to be the same

Thanks for the photos ken your right they are the same the shot with the door open shows the original chrome sliding window strip used reused as a trim panel on the top edge of the door the same as set up on the ones i have. Gives me a start with the history of the car as well if they had already been converted in the uk. How did you come across the photos?

Well i got incontact with the mk1 forum and they recon it could be a conversion kit made by Tilling in London. Theres reference in the original Tilling sales add to two other companys supplying these kits, any ideas on who they might be?. Only one i can think of is radford any thoughts?
