Another thought is that the earth from the motor to the chasis could be faulty. Check the voltage at the solonoid........if it drops heaps when you try to kick it over, then you may have a faulty earth. Easy fixed with some really thick cable and two lugs. HTH. :) Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

May have misread this ,but if the motor spins with no spark to fire it you could have disconnect the tacho wires ( white bullet connections ) If these are disconnected either from the tacho, if fitted, or from each other when no tacho installed then you wont get power from the ignition switch to the + side of the coil.

alrighty guys, tis all fixed, me and dad did a crazy job, it turned out that there was an ignition wire had broken from the solder, until we had finished resoldering and doing trial and error on certain wires, and identifying which is which, something ticked in my mind about the "kill switch" underneath the dash. I took a gander at it. and the f*ckin wires had eased its way off the toggle switch. Anyways, we replaced what needed to be replaced sooner or later. and so dad said "yeah we'll do that some other weekend", i say, least its workin now! im happy this sorta thing happened at home on not on the road somewhere else. I will fit a proper immobiliser and alarm later on anyways. And now my dash is in place, so i will post pics soon when i get my sounds system crankin!!! 8)
