Hi john,

I would also be intrested in set of the wide MKII S style where the side trim is retained and there are no screws.

Thanks

I would also be interested in a set of the wider ones.

Any updates on the repro flares? Either the carbon fibre or plastic versions?

The yellow car are Australian Mk2 Cooper S flares. You'll find them on all later upmarket minis such as the GT, mini S, LS, SS. As offered - see Mini King for these. IMO i wouldn't go for anything else - they don't look after market (but that's just me).

Does John
still sell the standard mk2 Cooper S flares set as pictured above
Price and in stock?

"City" flairs are common add ons with later Minis in Canada. They work with 10s, 12s, can be painted body colour (or...Gloss Black was my choice with Pooh & Hunny Pot 165s on 10" Minilites).

Another example

The "City" flairs were on ROO (with 165s on 12s) when it was delivered. I broke one in the Qld outback and will be bringing a replacement with me in October.

Rick, you can buy those `City' flares (commonly called Innocenti flares here) cheap, about $60 a set, or $15 singly. Karcraft stocks them, so do other shops. Not worth carrying one over the pond, IMO.

I would also be interested in either the plastic or carbon versions of the wide Australian Cooper S flare. I was looking at reproducing them in Carbon myself!

Thread revival!

Just fitted new A008s and although narrower than the old Falkens, still want to cover them better, so anyone have any wide Mk2 flares available? New or used?

In the end I gave up chasing the mk2 flares and bought a set of the W&P flare instead http://www.minispares.com/product/Classic/Body/Exterior_Trim/Wheel_Arch_moulding/MS134.aspx?030502&ReturnUrl=/shop/classic/Body/Exterior~Trim/Wheel~Arch~moulding.aspx|Back%20to%20shop
