I would think he would keep it in the garage or drive it on a day like today.
I do quite like the red rover seen in one of the pictures.

He rang me this morning. There's a guy from Adelaide trying to buy it. Hes had someone inspect it. Apparently it was running with a miss and has been at a mechanics waiting for uk spark leads. Hense why it isn't at the house

I am also aware of some panel repairs.
He said the bonnet is slightly off colour and even though none of the photos don't show the passenger side of the car, It appears the cooper pinstripe is not dead straight like the driver side.

Also spotted the rear right wheel has a fair buckle in it.

Someone has offered to check it out for me so we will see if he can get over there

Not sure about this car, I do want everything it has, and I love looking at it but I don't wanna be rushed

Sounds like it is too pricey and too risky, given the problems you've just described. If he's been trying to sell for 18 months that rings alarm bells too. It means the whole mini community has seen it and ignored it at the price he's listed it at.

Ok so I didn't end up hearing from the owner or the guy who said he'd check it out for me before I rang him last week.

It sold so I have no idea if it was a decent car or not. His best mate ended up selling his rover too but it is a BSCC and just not to my tastes, but means I now know exactly what car I'm looking for.
