Drifting - what a wank IMHO

Anyone can practice and practice sliding a car around a couple of corners and trying to look pretty. Lets see these try-hards do it in the middle of a forest, down a road they've barely seen before with trees only a couple of feet away. Rally Driving - The REAL drivers. That's what I want to do when I have the money/time. Until then I'm happy with Motorkhana, Khanacross and maybe if funds stretch to it the odd supersprint or hillclimb.

yeah ok bob whatever ..... if you think it is easy to get a car sideways and hold it there while doing 80 or 90 klm then switch it the other way and keep it going it dose take skill oh and by the way it is the same as rallying on dirt they keep the wheels spinning while cornering so that must be a wank as well it is were drifting come from in japan

Scandinavian flick is acxtually the fastest way to go around the corner in rally, keep the momentum and boost up while getting the car pointing in the right direction.

drifting is not racing though as it is clearly not the fastest way to go around a track, judging is completely subjective
