aussie mate theres nothing wrong with drums, ive said this before, i had new drums shoes and wheel cyls, well they were like around a year old, and with frequent adjustment i can honestly say they felt just as good as my S setup i have now, i would probably prefer drums in some causes because they didnt lock up as easy.. if adjusted correctly they pulled up in a straight line aswell!!
adjusting them? 8mm spanner dude, jack 1 front corner up at a time, put spanner on front adjusting, turn untill the wheel locks up, back off untill wheel moves with mine-ute friction between the shoes and the drum.. now do the same with the rear adjuster..
the adjuster is just a circle. dont worry about undoing it or anything like that...
theres not much to it.. jees i R&R'd all new brakes on my mini when i was 16.. get a manual, there very helpfull
