For the valve which fits on to the hydro valve, I just used a $5 push on valve from Angel Tyres which stayed on when the grease gun pump was used - it never popped off. Just depressed the hydro valve with a rag over it to expel any air.Cheap as......

I machined a brass Schrader valve cap down on the OD, and then soldered it into a brass fitting.
I use 2x Mini front brake hoses with a pipe joiner in between, to screw the hose onto the hydro valve I undo the flare nut then retighten when connected.
Has worked fine for the last 20 years...

To let the suspension down, I use the top of the original steel valve cap (which is domed for the purpose) to depress the valve stem....

Yes he has a pink mole for sale. The father in law went to his house to get it he's got all sorts down there including a mint Cooper s which isn't for sale unfortunately. Yeah it's a count down I can't wait to see it and drive it. It's been a few years since I've driven one. I have one in garage at month but it's no where near driveable. That may have to go if the missus gets her way

Do you perth guys go on drives

No worries Matt, glad it is holding pressure for you. Always a bit of an unkown putting in a second hand displacer. Wish someone would start making repro hydro bags!
