Nothing to do with this actual car but, what's the go if you, say, buy a car YOU think is 100% legit, then try to sell it on as
that, only to find out it's fake? Is everone suppose to be a expert?

Just watch pawn stars on a&e and see what happens lol

I just looked at add, all a bit vague but you'd have to be a bit soft in the head to try and fake a car at that price. You'd have to expect close scrutining, not to mention checking of numbers.

That actually happened to someone who onsold a Falcon GT .There was a court case and the people who onsold it where found guilty of selling a fake , not the person who sold it to them..............

I think in this case it's deliberate Carsale doesn't have any means to report fraudulent ads!

Sorry a bit off topic here ,but eBay seems to please themselves what they do,eBay removed one of my listings, because someone reported me for violating policy by putting on the listing that buyer is to pay any PayPal fees. I have since seen dozens of listings with this on them, and they don't get removed ,even when reported

Been down this road in the past and it comes down to fact that you have to prove that the seller had prior knowledge that the vehicle is not the genuine article.

Buying a compliance plate on eBay I'd say the seller has prior knowledge this is not the genuine article!

A car can be worth a lot more if you intentionally deceive the purchaser. I don't think it would be too hard to prove the owner has changed the cars identity and knowingly did it by purchasing an id plate. Why? To deceive someone for a financial advantage. Ian guessing the owner will retract the ad soon.
