Yep they never used Clubby rear lights on the K or the Cooper S here in Oz..
Some people prefer them, but then again.. :x

The mini K is a MKII Deluxe and were the vehicle Leyland created to celebrate the take over of BMC if people are buying bodgy modified clubbies and the like for 4-7 thousand dollars 7.5 isn't bad for one if its in great shape no rust and original. There are quite a few 850 and deluxes in top original quality seling for the moment around 6-7

I know of one K for sale in Sydney in the same purple as the brochure advert $8 000 under 60 000 original miles in almost concor condition with its rubber mats still intact. This car could be easily insured for $8 -10 grand

Shannons are insuring Coopers for up to $25 grand even though retail for average quality is around $15 000.

If you want a top condition original mini especially a K that has won many trophies and been displayed at motor ex and other shows PM me for details.

$7.5 sounds too dear unless it's near concourse or totally original... I paid less than a quarter of that for my 69 Mini K (Lillee) and I must admit she's nowhere near original or concourse but I would look around. If it comes with 7.5inch S brakes and a 1275 engine maybe...

I know of a bog stock 850 in the middle of NSW with no rust for at least 1/2 of the price or less than what's being asked here... 850's are great for restoration IMO... perfect road warrior sleeper look
