In the top of the dash pot piston...did you change it (thicker/thinner)

Haven't completely changed it but I top it up occasionally. Just use engine oil (shell's red protection for older cars bottle).

Never had a problem with sticking in 4 and a half years with it :/.

It slides down nicely and clunks if I lift the piston...
