Yeah I had a "Random complete rusty pieces that once made up a 7.5". By the time I was done I had bought

New discs
New CVs and boots
New wheel bearings
New ball joints
New flanges
New pistons and kits
New hoses
New pads
New master cylinder

Not to mention changing the rear cylinders to match discs

In the end I had spent more than brand new set...

This drive flange looks almost new, it just has a few dings around the top edge. The dirty looking bit on it is black overspray

The two ones that were in the hub uprights had become very attached to the bearing inner races.

All the bits minus the dust shields and manky old bearings.

I've measured the two least rusty discs today and they are 4.8 and 5.2mm thick, and they would have been around 6.3mm new, so they are obviously too worn.

Think of them as 25% quicker to fade...

The flange journals do look good however. Hopefully the splines are good as well.

They are definitely better than drums up front. There is also the advantage of self adjusting.

I left them for a soak in vinegar for a few days and they cleaned up well.

I'm still convinced this one is near new and only ever dry assembled. The splines look great

The other two look good

And one of them is cast MMOWOG with an extra M

The disc didn't totally fit in the bucket. I'm still surprised by how well $1 of vinegar did at cleaning them up

You need 2 new rotors, those are way too thin, but the drive flanges look fine.
Their splines don't wear bad like the 7.5" disc ones do.

Yeah I wouldn't use these discs on the car, they are all too thin, and they have better grade metal these days too.

I was just curious how they'd go in the vinegar bath!
