Not a vacuum but I used the dishwasher to wash all the engine parts of my Superkart. Came out sparkling.
I think you could fit a mini gearbox case in one.

SHE was not impressed though !

Dishwasher is also great for cleaning contaminated brake discs. Use Pots cycle (when SHE is not home).

I'm lucky , i have front & rear roller doors in my shed , lift them both up , work out which way the wind is blowing , then into it with the vac blower , .

The best ones were the aqua vac steel can ones still have 1 or 2 today good suction

i found one on a clean up pile a few months ago motor was stuffed so cut the can in half and now have a oil drain can on wheels

Also have 2 plastic drum aqua vac 1 with detachable hand blower and one without and smaller drum

and a professinal carpet cleaner from me carpet cleaning days now mainly used to do the house and the familys cars interias

And aldi have a cordless robot one next week i seen it in the new catoluge in there store today
