Would be fine if it were priced according to a Cooper import. With limited K's and that sort of nick. If you were looking for a late model import it would be viable as you get some form of exclusivity, but I wouldn't see its value past the 20's

Lol the investment people make for these cars its an insult to assume they are only worth around 20k

As I said earlier Aussie folk have no idea their value cheap and nasty jap imports have cause pain over genuine limited editions with there bogus claims and mock ups

For a genuine late model UK built car, low miles and quality condition this is in it would be a 60k plus car anything less and you guys are dreaming,

If you think I'm wrong try investing in one, see what they cost and do the math landed here and complied

Learn the real market

I cant see the value in it, but if people think its a collectable go for it. As I previously stated they would be better off sending it to the UK. I don't understand where any value comes into a car that has a marketing badge on it and a few aftermarket goodies thrown on. Didn't Holden do that with the barina sportsgirl?
Just my opinion but I would find it hard to value it at more than $30k. I personally wouldn't have it as a gift. It has none of the history, provenance or performance of an original 60's mini without all the character. But again that's just one opinion.

You wont find any of those on the road. They are all hidden away in private collections.

I used to notice just how the custom colours of the limited edition Carla Zampatti Lasers used to stand out through the dust when they were at the wreckers. At least the Pulsar Q came with an LSD.

I have been down that road with Wilf before when he had a traveller for sale. Expression of interest, ffs mate just say what you want for the car. He got shitty when I pressed him for a price, excuse me for wanting to buy a car!

It is my understanding that Wilf is selling the car under instructions from a third party, so he has to market it the way they request,
It is not his fault, he has had to sell other cars the same way and put up with people getting PO with him when his is only doing what he has to do, By the way he has sold a lot of other cars for prices that a lot of people said would not happen, Wilf is a very honourable man who tries to do the right thing by all

The car in question at the time he told me was owned by him, not a consignment. I have no doubt he sells cars and plenty of them, good luck to him. When I asked him about originality and price he flew into a tirade and was most unprofessional. Everyone has their off days I suppose.
