Roy Clearwater from NZ remade it. Not cheap though.

I will check out what his name is

Hi Brendon/Doug

The hood lining that Roy had made is 99.9% original looking and other people have informed me of the same view.
I will leave the rest to Roy if he wants to add to the post. He has a very very high standard.
My Mk 2 Cooper S has the same hood lining as my 1973 Clubman GT. The same as most people have stated so far.
Just to add, there seems to be a little talk about the correct carpet for these two models. I am happy that both models had the same carpet as well.Correct or not correct?
Doug thank you for your Brake Power booster Manual and all your posts that give as so much more knowledge. You are a true asset to the Ausmini Forum with so much information and skills.

Kind Regards Pete.

Hi guys,

Simple answer is yes i had some reproduced - but i have run out. Yes it is very pricey so i didnt get too much made... you would think large quantities would bring the price down - but didnt seem to.
I am reluctant to reveal my supplier for obvious reasons (alot of my time and $$ was put into this)... however i am prepared to look at getting another small batch produced. But this leads onto my next problem:
The supplier is VERY slow and poor at communication. I currently have him reproducing kidskin basketweave for me - and alot of $$$ of mine are on the line and iv not seen or heard nothing. (yes you have to pay before they produce... hmmmm) The fact that i got the hoodling material (eventually) to the standard i wanted; i havnt given up hope just yet.
So simply, i might be able to obtain more in the future, but its not as simple as making a phonecall and ordering some - which it should be! Looking at about $650 +postage to do a car (if i can get it). If anyone is interested at this price, then please PM me, and if theres enough interest ill go through the slow painful process again. (but again i cannot stress enough that i can almost guarantee there will be a long wait).
Cheers
