All Cooper S got a booster. A `68 should have a Lockheed one. Mk2s had a PBR VH44J.

Good guess. Yes I was in the RAAF for nearly 25 years as a Mechanic / Workshop manager. Had an accident whilst overseas and then a failed back operation then booted out because they couldn't fix me. Now I am just laying around waiting for my back to fix its self.
Probably why you will get a reply from me first during the day- all the other guys have jobs to go to.

Yes. The photos were taken about ten years ago when I was posted to Townsville. I had 5 postings in 6 years and put it into storage. Miss it heaps and just waiting for my back to get better then it will be back on the road.
Sorry for the Hijack giant.

Early 69 mk2s also had Lockheed and tin tank master cylinders

That badge may or may not be genuine, it does look in good shape if it is genuine style. Flip it over and check to see if the words are molded into the plastic (and then painted), or printed onto the plastic directly. The molded letters are the genuine style of badge, which has been reproduced haphazardly over the years.
