Hey matt, those red pipes are hydro? What's the material ? Do you recommend them as replacement ?

Beautiful job.

The hydro pipes look original to me, (because they even have the twisted on protection where they are clamped) just off a probably previously red painted car.

Whilst looking at this I want to ask what the rounded cut out in the floor is for? I have the same and noticed the replacement hydro type floor panels dont have it and wonder if that will be an issue if i have to use these replacement panels on mine.

It's the hump for a floor starter button , my 64 had one. Redundant now with the key start. The replacement floor panels do not accommodate this bulge so I'm going to cut around and make it work. I'm in the same boat as you are flute:( would be nice if the replacement panels incorporated this in the future.

Ah, thanks, was thinking auto or something else. Also a pity the repro hydro floor pans don't run full length! I (panel shop) will cut around too then. Thanks for advice.
