I will update this with the following from my build thread just for the sake of completeness if people search it in the future:

I had three samples made up to check the colours. All three were from PPG - the Protec brand.
Note all of the BMC colours appear to be under the "Leyland" name on their database.

The colours were:
  • Leyland 1968 Sapphire Blue 10245
  • Leyland (1967?) Snow White 10080
  • Jaguar/Daimler Old English White 06720

Note that I could not find the BMC Australia ("Leyland") Old English White on their system, so keep that in mind when looking at the below.

Also note that I have chosen the pics below (flash/no flash) to best show what I saw but clearly there are limitations using the camera etc. The one below is without flash as it best shows the difference between them, even though overall they both seem very dark.

The Snow White is on the left. It looked a little more grey than the creme I used on the interior.
The Old English White is on the right. It looked more pink when compared to the interior or the Snow White.

Even though the Snow White is a little darker than the interior creme, it looks to be the same colour, just a slightly darker version. And when the flash is used I think it gives a truer version of what it looks like in the sun. Wheras the pink-ness of the OEW (the Jaguar one at least) makes it not a great match. So I'll use the Snow White. Also the Snow white is a 67 Morris colour, so more in theme with what I'm after.

Below is the Sapphire Blue with the Snow White, next to the door card.

Again the combo of flash, reflections etc does not photograph well.

I've included below the PPG paint details in case anyone is interested.
