Yeah got one at work. I've been trying to avoid melting the powder coat. But in the mean time I've destroyed the pedal box. Which means the replacement will need powder coating anyway. Geez I'm pissed.

Ive taken the entire assy into the engineers to see if they can get the pin out. They had a laugh cause I butchered it so much. I lost my temper at it..

Will see if anything can be done to save the housing assy.

Yield or Penetrene are the two best spray cans when trying to dismantle things.

I had simular problem. Pedal would not return as it had seized.

I had to use my hydraulic press to remove the pin. There was no way I could have punched it out.

Assemble with never seize grease.

If I recall the bushes in the pedals are a standard size so should be easy to replace.

Finding a good pin was the issue.

I had always thought you could drill a small hole and set up a gease nipple on each end. Never did it on mine

May be next time its out I might.

I bought a brand new pin from Mini King a few years back. I know that when I get round to it, the one on my Moke is going to be trouble.

Ended up sourcing another complete pedal box assy from Matt The Mini Man.

The engineers got my pedal box apart only after cutting the pin in half and smacking it out.

They have made up new bushes for both my original powder coated pedals and the pedals which came from Matt. Ive got one good pin from Matts pedal box.

They have drilled out the elongated holes in the pedals, and then drilled out the holes in the M/C stalks to the same size. They have then made up clevis pins to suit so now there is no slop at all between the pedal and the M/C's.

Wasnt really expecting the $368 bill however.... This is turning out to be an expensive exercise!

I might have to re-adjust the clutch stop nut after this...

Ill blast the pedal box and pedals that I got from Matt and then get them powder coated black. So Ill have a set of red pedals and a set of black pedals!!!!

Hi Hanra,
Do you powder coat the pedals and spring as well?
