problem is that the outlet is right on the LCB.....so the rubber hose will melt with that pump :?

Mechanical fuel pump is about $40 for a rebuild kit. Only takes 1/2 hr if that to do once you get it out, but is cheaper to buy electric pump apparently or so I've been told. Mechanical pump works fine on cheezel since I rebuilt hers! Less noise etc and yes you can buy backing plates if you wana get rid of it! Good luck!! :D

(late?) Clubbies have a so called 'sealed pump' that is unserviceable. It's a throw away item. The rebuild kits are good for those funny round Mini's, as thay have a pump you can actually work on! AND they have a better design. Mini K has inlet and outlet on the same side - WHICH IS AWAY FROM HOT EXHAUST PIPES!!!!!

Anton

If you use a BMC mechanical fuel pump a kit to put through it is $20 bucks. The top with the in/outlet can be positioned in 3 direction to go around your manifold and extractors.

Anton I've got that K one here, if you want it..
Screw in fittings.
It passed my `blow' test, just needs a K or Deluxe outlet pipe thingy. Or another inlet stub and some hose...
