Remember SPO41 was effective from Sept 1970 so the 1971 race would be the earliest those cars could participate. Clubman GT's built to SPO28 were FIA homologated (I have the CAMS homologation form somewhere).


Ahh ok I didn't know when SPO 41 came into place.

I believe the replica was put together by the local TAFE apprentices, they probably only had external pictures and a limited budget anyway...it looked OK...the main thing is that least they displayed a Mini amongst all the boring V8s :roll:
