Regarding the fuel pump placement, yes the Minis' that were entitled to them all had the SU 214 pump under the boot floor, but also every Jaguar XJ has the pump(s) located within the boot, so there would be no legal issues with doing so on any car.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I was able to locate the thread on the sill (I had covered it whilst painting and then forgot that it was there!).

This may sound a little stupid, but where does everyone mount the third seatbelt mount? ie. the retractor mechanism is mounted to the sill panel, the 'middle mount (along the length of the seatbelt itself), but I'm not sure where the final mount is attached...

I thought about attaching it to the same mount on the sill as the retractor mechanism, but this would require a twist in the seatbelt (which I thought was not allowed?)...

Thanks in advance
Richard

As above goes on the same mount, but as I said you will prob need to angle it forward to clear the door pocket. This actually makes good sense as this points it more in the direction it would be pulled if in an accident anyway i.e. it points toward your waist. pic of mine below.

One minor problem I had was that when the belts were new and more sensitive they sometimes would lock when the door was closed because as you can see the door pocket can give the belt a little "tug" when the door shuts making them lock. Usually a jiggle pulling up on the belt unlocked it. The problem disappeared after a while I found as the retraction spring loosens up a little.
