Btw I got the idea from Mighty Car Mods, they used a smaller one as a cooling system for their supercharger.

They also fitted the cooling fan the wrong way around.

I like Hunter's heater radiator. Looks like the water has to pass though the core twice due to the two top tanks. Exactly what model did it come from mate?

This is what I fitted for extreme cooling, second custom rad plumbed into heater outlet and welsh plug. I also run twin electric water pumps and twin Davis Craig thermo fans. All controlled from the haltech which runs the fans and pumps individually as required.

I now have a flex fuel sensor to fit after watching mighty car mods and will be running on ethanol so looking forward to getting that fitted!

When it run on carby it was a constant battle to try and keep it cool, now it's injected I battle to get up to a decent operating temp.

Running E85 should make it cooler again too.

Yes need the cooling for the inlet charge as I don't run a cooled manifold or fan on the supercharger. Was going to fit a methanol injection kit but once I saw the flex fuel sensor it looked like a much better idea.

There is a servo selling E85 about 15 mins away and a few around my usual stomping grounds so should be able to run it most of the time. Love the idea of being able to put a bit of regular fuel in if I get stuck to get me to an E85 servo.

Only running a very mild tune due to the high inlet temps, engine was built to handle way more than its getting so can't wait to have this fitted and see the true potential of the engine.

Auxiliary radiators in photos are all GM pickup heater cores. The one in the 1980 Mini 1000 sedan is a snug fit but would not go into a MK I or MK II as there was less depth (apron to power unit/starter).

However, there is a large variety of off the shelf heater cores and radiators to chose one that will fit.

Obviously the square nose Van has ample room for extra cooling.
