The standard pressed steel grille was fitted from the factory to all pickups. This was also fitted to UK vans.

The grille on Flapper's one has a Morris Deluxe / Cooper grille

These ones have a UK grille from a MK2 and later car. All UK cars after 1967 had this shape grille (but had different colours and grille slats)

They are unusual to come across here as they were never officially imported or assembled here.

as i understand it.
all English vans and pickups have a fixed(part of the face panel)grill. we in Australia got smart and made the grill removable ,easier to service,
so the imported pickups (we only made one leyland version made by the apprentices so i was told) have this fixed grill unless they have been modified.

me no expert :)

At this stage in the repairs, the correct English front was 3 weeks away. We had a Cooper s front, so on it went, knowing very well how shitty I get trying to work with the English front. We do have the English front if anyone wants to fit it down the track. (The Fixed front was not on it when we got it. The replacement that was on the front when we got it was RS)

Here is a Photoshop of a converted saloon to pickup... the load space would be pretty limited if you did make one

Great photoshopping/graphics skills Timmy, I might lock that one away for my next project/dream
