Yes the Mini Car Club N.S.W are conducting a "milk crate swap meet " every second month at the general meetings at Five Dock , the next one will be in June , members are encouraged to bring along a milk crate sized container of parts they would like to sell or even give away , last meeting I gave away 4 radiators that were not too bad and some shafts and cv 's for drum brake minis , I am moving house so .... non members are welcolme to attend the meeting and if they want buy any bits that are available and hopefully they may join up . Also at the general meetings there are a number of parking spots set aside for minis , old or new , so come along bring your mini and maybe you may find a bargain or two.

I think some of the swap meet sellers are so used to the "community" that they don't want to sell or their stuff.

It has become almost a social event and they just cart around the same old stuff.

Having said that you still get bargains. 850 grilles for $10, Mini Deluxe grille for $15 followed by "what's it fit?"

You need to get there early and be thorough in your search. You never know. I got a heap of Golden Fleece service station matchbooks for 50c each found in the bottom of a box.

IMHO i think those seller are no better that the nutters that own STD mini's and drop 1275's in them, stick on a couple of badges and call them mk1/2 cooper S's and ask nearly cooper S money. :x Its so flustergating, at least with the Jags you can pay 25 pounds and get a heritage listing from just a chassis number.
