I'm sitting here using a computer that is at 800x600 (that's the way my sisters like it for some reason, YUK!), and JAM's is about as big as you want to go, any bigger than that and it would throw the table right off, but is fine at the moment.

I must admit though...I design websites for that screen resolution as a minimum.

I'm not so keen on them - aren't the avatars enough? Notice there is no "No signature pics" option in the poll
Anyway, it would be handy for users to be able to set a preference to display others' signatures or not. The "Topic review" when you're posting a reply has no avatars or signatures. Could be handy for those flat-earthers who don't have broadband.

I know the earth is round, but Telstra tells me I can't get broadband at work or home
because I'm too close to the edge of the earth :x

I don't visit the Gallery, Brickshop, etc for this reason.
Pleeeeeeeease keep them small if you must have them.

Thanks,

Mike

Just thought I would chuck some rules in... and maybe add to it occasionally.
Nothing too over the top, just some common sence that would make the forum better.

1. All members of ausmini should have a location in their profile.
I think it would be better for everyone because that way there will be no confusion, and nobody needs to ask. ;)

2. ]Please limit signature pics to 100h x 300w.

3. If you wish to post a picture in a thread (other than the gallery), please keep it small... 400 x 300 pixels and 50KB is big enough. Alternatively, you can post pics as a link.
Just remember there are those who are on slow connections and a page of huge pics is not the best thing to download.
If you want to share pictures with other members, (and that's always welcome), just put a link in the message so people can choose to view the picture.

Thats all for now, but if anyone has some more suggestions, please feel free to post them here.

there it is for you all to read. The forum rules. I found them as a sticky in 'stickies, rules and announcements'.

Enjoy :D
