A small amount of toe in was recommended by the guy that did the alignment.
I did give him the settings that I wanted and that's what he did except for the toe.
He also has put in different caster and camber left to right to compensate for the camber in the road.
I'm really happy with the way it drives.
I suspect that he knows what he's talking about !

Yeah, but, that's when they all had 1 to 1.5 degree positive cambers.

Keep an eye on uneven front tyre wear.
Too much toe in (from stock setup) = tyres wear more on outside.
Too much toe out = tyres wear more on inside.

I would not be putting toe in on a road Mini at the front.

I just went and spoke to the guy that did the wheel alignment.
Typical front wheel drive will have 0 camber and a small amount of toe out.
While driving the front wheels pull forward and you have zero toe and zero camber so the tyre is evenly loaded and should wear evenly.

My mini has significant camber and therefore loads up the inside of the tyres.
To compensate for this, a small amount of toe in has been used so that under driving the wheels will add a little more toe in so that the tyres are loaded evenly. But not enough to wear out the tyres excessively.

On a race car, you run even more camber, but this is to compensate for body roll/tyre distortion in corners so that the tyre sits flat on the road during corners.
Add some toe out and the car turns in really well.
This setup gives great handling BUT wears out the tyres. Not that important in a race car !

Hope I have explained this clearly.
