FYI how good are these systems I drove it to work this morning and notice sometimes it had a miss so this afternoon I thought I'd check For TDC and make sure I had it all set right. Before I left work I got the laptop out and adjusted the advance as I had a bit of pinging.
Fixed most of The pinging got home car running as I thought great.
Now I thought I'd check the air fuel mixer and up the fuel mixture to completely get rid of the pinging.
I took out the color tune and went to plug it in.
Guess what the distributor side of HT of spark plug #1 was not even connected. Strange as the engine sounded like it was perfect. Either I'm a crap mechanic or the black box system rocks
