After reading through everything we have decided to try and diagnose the problem with the hope of staying with the DOT 5.

Early indications are that both front calipers are sticking....

This could be from swelling of the rubbers...

But I think it has more to do with the fact that I originally rebuilt them by using DOT4 brake fluid as the lubricant to put the seals in.. From what I have read this is a big no no. There is a small amount of black sticky crap coming out with the clean DOT 5 fluid when drained..

New seals ordered and will install with silicone grease.

Will keep everybody updated.
