I think bigger is better, my wife's clubman has a LS 1275 3 spoke leather wheel & my Cooper S has a late clbman 3 spoke plastic wheel, but we use our car for motorkhana's so its good to have a big wheel for easier turning.

Bob take note of what i just said when the next khana comes along.

I think this one is good. It's only a fraction smaller in diameter than the bus wheel it replaces, but it is much thicker and has better grip and a nicer feel.

Also, I sit a long way back in the car, and I think the boss kit has given the wheel just that little extension and it's a much more comfortable position for driving.

Doogie you going to the VW Khana at Oran Park??

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

In the interests of sportsmanship I'm sure a nice guy like you would have some spares lying around for me somewhere

Okay well i've just put a factory LS steering wheel on mine to get it thru Regency tomorrow (No sports steeering wheels allowed) and holy jesus... the difference is HUGE.
The steering is a lot lighter, is the main difference.
The steering wheel is also thinner, so this is different to my chunky sports one - i reckon i like this new wheel.
Big wheels ROCK 8)

i havent honestly driven a mini with a small wheel though.
Mine is wrapped in leather so not as thin as norm.
