well hmmm. update time?

not much going on in the land of evil.

Got the Brace bars for the front end. :D
New handbrake cables.
God my Radius arms back from Doc with the nice new rebuild kits in them.
The modified top arms are done 2 thanks to Doc

Sanblasted a heap of small parts the other day in my new cabnet. :) just all the mounts and pins for the rear frame. Front top shock mounts.. All nice and clean now and ready to paint.

And my Bulk head Turbo box I cut out was bent into shape the other day thanks to the help of a bender and djhaddo1  Dan the man. 8)
So just need to trim up 2 of the edges on it and weld the corners with the mig. and fit to the car. maybe this weekend if lucky.

I should also get something very BIG and Bling today or tomoz. so I will post a pick when It is here..

Jim, Kev, Josh, M and Chris know what it is.

O and My Dam wheels should me ready to ship on Tuesday next week. (about time)

well time to post my progress again.... :?

No real major work done. Just the small detail work. painted up the radius arms and brake back plates.. fitted the new hand brake cable and KAD quadrants. mmmmm 8) The radius arms look sweet. so pleased with the way things are coming up.. ansl now recoed the top arms.. (man never try this again the bearing removal is a right pain in the ass.. ) so all new bearings grease nipples.. the works. painted up and looking NEW.

All the rear frame mounts and pins are painted with there new yellow bushes inthem ready to go on.. all new nuts, bolts, washes...

The Hi Lo trumpet things I have painted yellow as the brake drums and calipers.. and the hi lo extender rods black as the top arms and radius arms.

So I am just waiting on a few parts next week and Dan 2 sandblast my front frame.. and I am ready to bolt it all back to look NEW. 8)

Other good news Is my wheels have been finished and were been picked up yesterday or today to ship out from the UK..

And also spent a few house talking to the great guys at mini sport SA this morning placing a order for 4 weeks time. 8) I think it hit 4K at the end of the order...

So thanks Tony and Andrew once again for the Help and great service..

But that list of things can stay a little hush hush for now..

will try and post some pics soon if my web provider is working the way it should.

well well. Thought I had better update..

Well I am now all settled into the New house.. and so are the cars and MOUNTAINS of parts and tools. lol (I am sure they are breading :? )

Have Not really done anything as such do Evil in a while.. More time spent doing a few things to the Clubby. (waste of time POS)

Anyways... I am on shift work once again.. so this week I should make some good progress.

This weeks goal is to paint and build the front and rear frames up.

I now Have EVERYTHING to do it bar the 2 other rubber cones on the way from the UK...

so a quick idea of whats going on the frames..after the nice sandblasted finish is painted. 8)

Rear Frame. Raduis arms were stripped and sandblasted and new kits put in at the Dr's workshop..new KAD handbrake quadrants, new handbrake cables. brake shoes nuts bolts washes braided brake lines.. new spaced drums. all new and Bling  O and KAD rear Camber brackets  Hi lows cones and lowered gas ajd Spax shocks.

Front frame: Top are stripped and rebuilt and painted. NEW ajd caster and camber bars, NEW 7.5" disks hi lows lowered spax gas shocks.

yeah.. ya get the idea. EVERYthing is new apart from the frames and the radius arms.. but for those that have seen em.. they dam well look new..

My Kad internal gear linkage came the other day and also a minisport allow sump guard.. VERY BLING 8) "thanks mini sport SA for all the parts and GREAT prices

Also.. Evil 850 now has a LOGO thanks to Jill.. so the wheel centers for my split rims will have EVIL 850 logos done.. and the center on the steering wheel is getting airbrushed also..

should start to see lots more pics of things been done real soon.

so stay tuned to watch the car come togeter and my bank accout get smaller.

Cody

Friggin Hell!

My car is getting a rebuild along similar lines, reco'd subframes and new lots of other
things, but I'm going new regular parts, and it's still costing me a small money factory!

Not only are you going new, but performance as well.
I take it money buys you happiness?
I like your idea for the wheel caps and steering wheel, "the devil is in the details"
and I think your car will be the satan of all minis.
Excellent stuff, I can't wait to see finished photos of this beast!
When do you think it'll be finished?
