fan is missing or out of sight. the HT leads are the wrong era, dunno if the colour is original and the catch tank is not std. but who cares it looks nice.
also the grill is wrong for a mk2.

That is a standard correct Oz grille for our `Mk2' . We never got Pommy ones.. or the big rear window...

Stop it, stop it......you're making me feel guilty  . (There's a thermo fan under the wing. 4 years no problems)

There is one Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig one though. You will need to read all the details to spot it.
It all came about through a shady tradesman who wouldn't deliver on his goods. He tried to stitch  me up......so I took what he had on the floor ready for another bloke.
There's timtams on it for the winner. (Winner collects)

Brake booster doesn't look the right size, shape, and colour for a Mk2?

Master cylinders are possibly wrong for a late Oz Cooper S - some late MK2 Oz cars had the never type clutch master, but the brake master was always the tin type. Or maybe not?

And the heater valve is there, but weren't all late MK2 heaters fresh air? So you should have an air sleeve there? Instead there;s that large metal box (dunno what it is).

But yea the alternator theory sounds pretty good too. Thats all I've got in 2 minutes.

   OMG!

(Is that a turbo down the driver's side?)

P.S. I keep the timtams, the seats are the wrong stitching. Correct for a Mk 1 3/4, but not for a 1970 Mk II.

ok the seats are wrong but its an ozzy car couldve been anything, i have 2 ozzy vans same year smae everything but the seats are different.
its hydro instead of dry, it has grill buttons on, the car is the wrong colour, yuor using penrite oil instead of castrol, you have black stuff oozing from the head gasket.
the gap is wrong on the plugs,

now you have told use i hope you enjoy the timtams.

How does she sound matt, is that the one with my crank in it?
looks complicated and wouldnt want to get near any of those moving parts could lose a child in there, cool got any spare kids to try it out on?

let us know when its running as i see no drive shafts on the car photo.

How can you spot the gaps on the plugs? I zoomed in but couldn't quite get there....

The leads are incorrect after 30 years( I have got an original set though somewhere) and so are the buttons for reasons of sanity but the hydro and also the colour/s are correct (jet red / crystal white).

P.S. Do you guys call them TumTams over there?
