forget multiple classes - its 998's with limited modifications and thats it. Makes the whole thing alot easier to control and keeps all the people racing TOGETHER. Thats what this is meant to be about afterall

i want to go RACING in a car that looks like a RACE CAR...... preferably WITHOUT an interior. I have always wanted to fang around in a car with the bare essentials: driver's seat, wheel, harness, tacho, battery box on the passenger's side floor...... and a gloss paint interior finish.

i had an idea for you... strip out the interior and bung it in the boot...full trim weight but racer boy looks... ;)

I'd need to BUY an interior first..... which defeats the purpose of having a LOW COST race car

Rear seat not needed.
Carpets not needed.
Head lining not needed.

(So say the rules) - (not sure about the Supersprint regulations)...

SO all that needs doing is a passenger seat and thats all...

Nathn i have a leyland bastard that i ripped out of the green banger after i wrecked it.
Vinyl dye it black and bobs yer uncle (thats what im doing).

Choice is yours ultimately

Take a dump in the morning before you race and there u go... u just saved as much weight taking the dump as you would by having the leyland seat in it over the morris seat

Did you see the rule that said "minimum weight, car and driver, 700kgs"???

If i take a crap in the morning, i'll end up under the minimum weight

Safety.
Dunno bout you guys but i'd spend a fair bit knowing i won't be crushed in an accident.

Safety in the supersprints is fairly optional, which is ****ing stupid.

Look how many Minis have had bad accidents out there...

Seriously, how many minis crush their roof in a roll?
Fitting a roll bar raises the centre of gravity so the car is more likely to roll!
(BTW I used to build roll cages.) 8)
