I found out why the van had started breaking down under load. Loose No4 plug lead on the dizzy.
Took it for a fang round town then flattened the battery while listening to music in the shed.

Screwed down the speaker/storage boxes in the back then took it for a fang round town.
Got it home then flattened the battery while listening to music in the shed.

Had a small puncture on my ally radiator, I ended up putting the old one back and give it a test drive 250 km all up with air con on sitting on half on the temp gauge. So I am happy ready to Knox tomorrow and Hanging rock on Sunday

almost finished off the radiator install and generator -> alternator conversion. Battled with the wiring at the front of the engine bay, but made it all much neater I think!

damn loctite 515 on the thermostat housing didn't seal anything.. just peeled straight off.. not sure what I did wrong! Try again with Permetex gasket maker no.3 . Hopefully the 515 on the waterpump housing is going to seal ok! :(

Removed the heater today, so much nicer having room in the engine bay! will install a heater in the cabin I think!
