Hi all, I would like to intoduce my self now that I have taken the plunge and posted some stuff.
I am a train driver in Gladstone QLD, married with teenage kids, none of whom share my interests in cars. I am the secretary of our local classic car club which I founded in 2005.
I have liked minis since my first car that i did up with help from my dad when I was 16


I bought my current mini about 8 years ago for a carton of beer. Then spent 5 years doing a ground up resto.

There's heaps more to the story but I wont bore you with the details

Guess i should introduce myself too?? Maybe?? Ok well... My names Erynn, 20 yr old from Mildura, Vic. Best way to say it... yes I'm an enthusiast but let's just go with I've been obsessed with minis since I was about 3, determined to buy one when the new minis came out, in a panic and thinking there would be no old ones around by the time I got my license! So here I was, 12 or so.. Looking at buying a mini! Needless to say I got my first at 15, neat little 73 clubman(unfortunately had to sell early this yr, parents weren't happy with me having 3 cars). At 18 I got a 65 Morris Mini and then last yr, decided to buy an everyday car.. 02 Bini Cooper

I thrive on cocky young girls in excels bagging out my beasts, only for me to then point out and say.. "Nice hub caps". I'm proud of my cars... and the 10" wheels it rolls on! Hahaha

hi im erica. im 20 years old. im in bendigo, victoria.
new to this forum, but i have been on theminiforum (UK) for nearly a year now.

i drive a 74 clubman, which has only been back on the road for about 2 months after 9 months of restoration. it has been resprayed in homeontheorange. pretty much standard 1100, but hope to make some changes in the future when money and time allows it.
