Painted to rear doors on the estate, made a subtle mod, leave them to go hard overnight then a quick polish and back on the car. Will post a pic when I'm done, as for once it all went right (so far...)

Raised the front by another 1/2 inch, rides nice and smooth now, even over speed humps

Put green cordial in the water under the radiator cap.

I found Penrite HPR 30 & 40 made the seals leak, particularly the timing cover ones.
Not had that problem since with Castrol Edge 25W/50, or KMX 20W/50.

The clutch and diff seals in my 1100 have stopped weeping.

I also changed a couple of side cover gaskets and smeared some permatex on the dizzy. Now it does not leak any oil. It is a 44 year old freak.

I was using KMX 20W/50 however the pressure was dropping down to 30psi when running normally. Was told this was because of the SC? Might try 25/70 if winter becomes a problem

Replaced all 4 dampers...haven't put the fuel tank back in though.
Fairly simple job next up is stripping the spare subframes and running up a list of new parts required. :(

Also, still haven't started it since I got it back.

I stripped the last major panel, the passenger door...

AND

the main body was painted (by dad).

the paint looks nothing like it does in the photos. it's basically impossible to get the right colour in a photo (nightfire II)! the paint still needs buffing/polishing in about a week.

1. Bought a new Ramflo HS2 filter cheap, and machined it to fit the HS6 on my 1412 stroker. (cheaper than buying an HS6 one that nobody in Sydney has). I won't use the Lynx foam, it's getting a Unifilter one.
2. Primed the oil pump on the 1412 and cranked it over with plugs out until it got pressure up.
It's nearly ready to drop into the car now, I just need to Bling the rusty throttle cable plate and find some HS6 gaskets.

I pulled some more bits off, the covers over the Brake/Fuel lines and Battery Cable. I also put it on my pallet with wheels so I could turn it around and pull the LHS apart tommorow.

I'll post pics in the Gallery tomorrow night.

Dicko.
