Removed the radiator from the Clubman and I think I have discovered where the water leak was as the radiator core is in very bad shape.
Cleaned up the brackets and mounts and sprayed all the parts black ready to fit tommorrow.

Got about half of the regular 1500mi service done:

* New engine oil, filter
* Cleaned air filters
* Disassembled carbs, cleaned and reassembled with fresh dashpot oil
* Topped up coolant
* Replaced spark plugs (broke one getting them out :oops: )

Only managed half a service mainly because I was assisting my 7yo boy do it :lol:

Still to do:

* Brake & clutch fluid change
* Suspension grease
* Brake adjustment
* Rotate tyres

bush mechaniced the front left wheel cylinders (with electrical tape YAY), only to find out the master cylinder is leaking, and when the pedal returns its sucking in air.

Yet another thing to fix.

Good solid coat on the wheels I will put another two during the week. drivers side CV & Drive shaft in, passenger side will be done during the week. Lower felt bush on Steering column. Fitted Y piece on the LCB and also exhaust rear Brackets, also found I have the exhaust pipe and its fits perfectly all the way down the back. Uncomfortably due to the exhaust I want be able to have the push button starter

Refitted the radiator to the clubman, dropped the 1275 engine into GR for the build to start and then dropped another box of parts and bolts into the metal plater shop and finally finished up at Padstow Mini Spares to spend more money. :shock:

Drove the Moke to work at 11am for server moves to our new building. It's been parked in the loading dock (so security can keep an eye on it) for the last 11 hours.

77 long days the little Mini sat neglected...so, a really nice, loving bath with paint brush to get into the tiny places...check the fluids, pressures, wheel nut torques...a little choke and the 1380 fired up on the second crank.

Next a 4 mile loop locally. After eats, a 20 mile run to my son's home and return. Mini was delighted to be alive and redlined.

This was all in aid of prepping for the 140 mile 'All British Run to Whistler' today (Saturday/18th)...darn, at 7:30 a.m. it's raining heavily and likely to be very wet all day.

At least no snow...

The rest of NZ got battered by a storm (stadium roofs collapsed, power out to thousands of homes) but Wellington had a superb day so I removed the rear side windows from the Estate, cleaned the rust out, treated what was left, primered etc. Hope to do some more today.
