Fair call I guess I'll have to shopping for a new outfit or something. You say $6-800 would that be fitted? :?

if you're paying $6-800 for a new outfit... i'd damn well expect them to fit it for you...

:roll: Ignore these spammers...

My advice is to shop around. Call a few places and ask them "how much", "fitted?" "Are they fully reconditioned?" Then get the best price you can.

Make sure fully reconditioned means repacked wheel bearings, repacked CV joints, new cv rubber boots, repacked and reshimmed ball joints (or new), machined brake disks, ask how much thickness is there left in the discs, new piston seal kits in the calipers (minimum, I'd ask if they can put in new pistons too and how much that would cost), if they are throwing in new brake pads or not. While your at it ask how much to put in new brake hoses.

I bet if you went in there and asked him about all this you'd get a few dropping jaws :lol:

Reconditioned should mean just that- NEW wheel bearings, NEW seals, NEW pistons too unless the old ones are perfect. Rotors machined or replaced. :wink:

All of the Disc setups that our bestest buddy Steve (Brickworx) sells come straight off running, driving cars. None of them have been sitting around in garages for years, rusting away.
I would, and have, no problems or queries whatsoever in using good secondhand parts from a reputable man in the business (read he doesnt make much money, he tries to do the right thing by everyone with $$$)
I am currently using a Rover alternator, it was off a front-cut. It did not get rebuilt. It did not get a flashy new paintjob. BUT it did cost comparitively nothing compared to other upgrades. And its still working, thank you very much.

Me = :D

Although Steve is still broke... :lol:
