Doc, a Triumph Stag is equivilant to your Fiat.

Not quite- Stag V8 motors are crap, at least Fiat twincams are bulletproof... (if U change the cam belt every 50,000 miles)
I was meaning, the cost of Triumph parts is unbelieveable. We restored one years ago and the cost nearly killed us.As Feralsprint said, finding parts is near impossible.  One of my old favourites the Valiant Charger would challenge for rust.Their motors are indestructable and the 265 hemi was as quick as the phase 3 and it was only a six cylinder. ( My first and much loved car )

yeah would love a valian charger there actually still reasonably priced would have to be a 8 though
yeah thanks for all the input guys
i have had four minis and restored two from scratch pretty much well have gotten pros to do most the hard yakka and they do seem kinda pricey i have a delux waiting to be done in the garage and just havent had time to start
its just i look at the others and i see where they could have been better and with this delux i am thinking of going the full monty spending big bucks but just am having cold feet i guess i dont want a daily driver i want something fun and looks good for weekends only and track days so equals $$$$s
hmmm what to do
i guess my optons as stand is to freshen up
or go full deal with it
selling isnt an option  [/list]
