My genuine ex police "s" when I bought it in 70 or 71 didn't have lowered seats but I have heard many stories in the years since that big people fit quite comfortably.

My mini did, however, have fully adjustable suspension, suspicous holes on the floor front and rear and full harness seat belts.

Yes Lance was a splendid photographer. I was a member of the Appendix J Association when he died and Max Stahl tried very hard to have the Association buy the collection of photos.
Other members voted against it and i have a feeling that many many photos are lost. Plenty of photos of heros of the days - jane, Beechy, Geoghans etc but not of the bread and butter racers and their cars.
