I cant help you out with price crush, but i do know there is a place called Complete Auto Restoration Something.
On grand Junction rd, heading towards the beach a bit after you cross south rd on the right. There sign says C.A.R.E. Big blue wrighting.
They sell PPG paints. And when i went in to get a sample pot for the "as yet unnamed van" i told them it was dulux sugarcane and they looked it up, 10 mins later i left with a pot. Might be worth giving them a try.

any flaws in the bodywork are going to show up no matter what paint you use. that is why they say a paintjob is only as good as its prep work. you will hate sanding by the end of it but it will be worth it - do it right or dont do it at all

Yes and no.

As always this depends on the quality/brand of paint you use, but generally most 2 part polyurethane paints are a little more forgiving in regards tiny flaws/swirl marks from the sander etc. i.e. You dont generally have to sand the undercoat with as fine paper as you would with acrylics.

Ive never used any cheap 2 part polyurethanes so they might suck just as much as acrylics with the little swirl marks/flaws.
