Are you referring to a BMW MINI or a classic mini???? <---- note the use of capitals

BMW MINI..... na, they dont need names, there were BORN into an identity crisis.

Classic minis.....yes..... and as was already mentioned, it doesnt need to be a proper name, just any old word that sticks.

In my case, "Supercharged 850" was merely a description of the car that somehow became its name after a couple of years..... and it fits nicely. Genger.... no idea.

Thinking of calling my black car "Vader"..... if anyone objects, please speak now or forever stick it up yer arse

I believe all forms of transport ever built are gendered female (always refered to as her),
with one exception, the most manly of all vehicles, a steam train.
:D

So we have the car is a 'her', its and an OC, so name it from somebody on that show! :D

.... and yet it is the one that most resembles a woman. Large, dirty, a one track mind, and always blowing hot air....

I asked my other half's neice what she thought I should name my mini. She suggested Sasha and Jade, I've gone with Sasha. I made the mistake of asking her how she thought of it.

Conclusion - my car is named after a Bratz doll.

I've only ever named the ones I had trouble with , ok , that's most of them actually , it just makes it easier to abuse something if it has a name and a personality ..... There has been -
The Smurf - smurf blue clubman
The Pig - 1275 powered sleeper in a minimatic shell , SOW number plate so pig worked .
Winny - South African mini , it was very dark and a difficult temperament

The others have behaved so have just been "the van" , "my van" , "the Fang" , "sports 850" and "the Moke" .

That's the one , it was about the time she was in trouble in the news for something involving teenaged boy's , can't remember what it was but she was being very difficult to the law and media ......

I'm using MINI to refer to my 1992 Rover (the MINI logo on the boot is in capitals not lower case cursive) as opposed to the Classic Mini and the BMW BINI... Thought it made sense at the time... :?

all my minis are/have been boys, and I've never had a proper name for them... too intimate for first names

Not feelin' the naming love yet.

Am thinking because it's the only one in the country that i could just name it "Open Classic" or "OC" cos no-one else'll name there's like that! :D

"Open Classic (The)" is currently winning out in my mind...

:!: :!: :!: SUDDEN REALISATION :!: :!: :!:

My username (BohoMini) has prompted me to plan on getting Personalised Plates, probably BOHO85, so what about the "Boho Mobile" :?: Not sure but it kinda would make sense...

my mini is named armageddon, a band that i like used to ahve a van that they called armageddon, and they crashed it and nearly died apparently so they wrote a song about it, and now that song is my car's theme song. also, i pained "here comes armageddon" across the bonnett, it gives it a bit of personality think, and i didnt mind ainting on it especially after i crashed it. i mean it still goes, but its just personality.

you also may ahve heard about the bandaids...

Ian, when ous ay MINI, that refers to a BMW, but if you eman a classic mini (all built up to and including 2000 (last classic mini built 2000???)) then you just say mini

oh...the theme song is "we did it all for don" by Against Me! if anyone is interested...
