I always use those tensioner snatch strap thingies, one on each corner of the car. I have never had one come off. I had a torana almost come through my boot becuse I used an old rope and a few bricks infront and behind the wheels... scary

Oh Dear
Please everyone - just be reminded that if a car comes adrift from a trailer and a fatality occurs, it will result in a manslaughter charge with a greater than 70% chance of a resultant prison sentence.

Use snatch straps if you must but - compromise - use at least one chain just to please me.

The good quality trucking ones may be okay but the commonly used cheapies from SuperC, Repco etc are not that strong and subject to UV decay.
