Are they dual intensity for parker/brake light applications? or are they only good for blinkers?

The ones I got work for parker/brake light applications. The sparky explained something about the blinkers being different, but by then I thought too hard, too expensive, switched brain off and just stopped at the brake lights.

They are undoubtedly brighter.

Most blinker cans won't work because the LEDs don't draw enough current.
You can buy flasher units designed specifically to use with LEDs

Everyone is talking about how much they disperse and how the domed type can't be seen on angles.
Are you guys taking into account that they are shining on plastic lenses, usually textured lenses to disperse light. Surely those lenses would throw light in every direction and from any angle you could see a glowing lens...

I'd like to give them a go, but I haven't convinced my self that I need to spend 10 dollars easch on a bulb to replace the 50 cent ones that doesn't improve the mini driving experience and may cause the insurance to be revoked...

but saying this, I'm sure they could pick on other things if they wanted to....Paddy Hopkirk peddle, braided lines...etc, etc

Standard Rear Morris Mini lights are piss poor to see during the day time, if a legal pair could be found then having brighter brake lights will sure help other drives see you slowing down or not :P
