IMHO - if you leave stuff laying about in the open - that is inciting theft and you have no-one else to blame but yourself(the police will tell you that as well...).

That said though - broken fingers stops theft - just ask some ex-sailors on Canberra stealing paypackets(back in the days when we were paid in cash every fortnight...)

They never stole again and we charged the sailors whose money was stolen with inciting theft...it aint rocket science. If you dont want it tealeafed, lock it up

That said though, I live in hope that all the crap outside near my bins goes missing - hence why I leave it out...

Hooroo

Its not the crap near the bins you need to worry about....

These days you cant even leave your wheelie bin out after the truck has come past. Some ning nong might knock it off. Its known to happen.....

In my shed I have mini bits everywhere. A certain person, 64mini, comes around and pinches stuff off me. Bought a set of twin 1/4 sus last saturday, didnt want them but they were cheap. This week I bought another set, just as cheap, both sets are gone. One set is on a red & white mini, the other set is on his bench gathering dust.

Okay - I will agree I jumped in a bit quick. I am just a bit sensitive to keyboard warriors slandering especially when a public forum is not the place for that sort of thing.

I am truely happy that this post was misread by me and is not subject to somebody losing goods illegally.
