I fully agree with Ian..There is nothing wrong with building miniyour as a tribute to a motor icon (the cooper S) But to fake one is a differnt matter. That is not for fun or enjoyment but simply to fool other people. Which is wrong, any 'mini' doing that to me aren't mini people as a real mini person wouldn't fake a cooper s or any other model, its sacreligious. I have a replica, not a fake to view my replica go to http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2466560 hehe...

I said it's a replica not an accurate one..yeah i know what you mean. Mine is a replica cooper s cos its got an S motor and brakes etc. It drives like an S but isn't one. I just wanted a nice mini for myself, I never intended to build a cooper s replica but really it is. In fact I'm gonna sell that car if and when (which will be never...) can get a Mk1 S body as I got the front end (engine, brakes etc.) for one. Anyone want to sell a body to me then buy me body?...I didn't think so....

No...I don't like them actaully. I'm saving for 12x5 minilites but I don't kbnow cos so many people have minilites so I might get revolutions! :P But nah I don't like them much, they are OK. I needed 4 new tyres it was cheaper to buy those wheels with unused tyres than to just go and buy tyres, well close enough anyways.

I know what you are saying - Brings back memories to my very first contact with Minis at 16 My mate bought a red 850 and had the roof painted white and added white bonnet stripes and later added a cooper grill - still was an 850
