Miniac. why don't you put that $400 into something more useful for your mini, like putting it towards a set of disc brakes or twin carbies? Number plates are just numberplates after all.

paying money for the plates per year whoa thats a rip i wouldn't do that if I lived in NSW It was 445 for my plates which i have bought already so no one else can have them it is PATO89 and they cost me $445 one off fee and I don't pay to have them on the car I just put them on there and no extra fee.

I am in the middle of (well hopefully i am nearing the end HA!) restoring the "express and although it is far from original i want to keep some originalit in it.... The car was originally registered in WA and has never had any other plates on it. I am in melbourne and when the car is finished i am going to get personalised plates that have the original WA number on them.... trying to keep some of the car's herritage!
