I got my body from Mini King, When I was stripping it and i too the rear cards out I noticed something very interesting...The rust protection layer was still on the inside! :shock: Is that normal? A lot of my body was like that, not much rust at all, only surface in the gutters and a hole under the car that i fixed quite easily. BUT my car my s**t load of dents! and still does. Proves you can't get a perfect body, willy I personally would sell that to someone else who would do as I wouldn't touch that! But if you have the time and money GO FOR IT! :D Another mini on the road is great! Just not something I am up to doing...

well my vote is for restore, you wont do any of the hard work anyway 8)
once the shell has had new panels welded in and been finished in almond green or woteva you can add the bling chrome bits, wheels, etc.

I hate that attitude of a little bit of rust and chuck it..

I think you should save it. Orangie needed alot of love too. But stuck with him through tough times, brought him back to health. We learned alot about each other and now we are buddies. So get out the plasma cutter and the welder and get to work!
