There is another advantage to Flashlube, it also acts as an upper cylinder lubricant.
My car runs S/S race valves and bronze guides (can't run plain S/S in cast iron ones), with valve stem seals that
work (non-Mini ones)- these guides need some lubrication, and the Flashlube provides that.
Unlike leaded fuels, unleaded has NO lubricating properties, it's more like a solvent than a fuel... understandable considering what's in it.
